Architecture & interiors,considered.
AANGAN is a practice of architecture and interiors founded on restraint — letting light, material, and proportion do the work. We design slowly, detail obsessively, and build spaces meant to age well.
Ar. Kavya Mehta
B.Arch, CEPT University · 14 years of practice
Kavya founded AANGAN in 2011 after years in practice between Ahmedabad and Mumbai. Her work is preoccupied with light, threshold, and the slow life of a material — buildings that feel inevitable rather than designed.
Ar. Rohan Shah

Rohan leads detailing and site — translating intent into joints, tolerances, and the unglamorous precision that makes restraint read as effortless.

Approach
Consultation
We begin by listening — to how you live or work, the brief beneath the brief, and the budget that makes it real.
Concept & Site Study
Sun, wind, context, and constraint become the first drawings. We test the big move before we draw a single detail.
Design Development
Plans, sections, and material palettes are resolved together. Spaces are shaped, light is placed, proportion is tuned.
Detailing & Documentation
Every junction is drawn. The quiet precision here is what lets the finished space feel effortless and age well.
Execution & Supervision
We stay on site. Material samples, mock-ups, and a close hand on the build keep intent intact from drawing to room.
Handover
We hand over a space that is finished, documented, and ready to be lived in — and we stay close as it settles.
