Villa Aranya

Design intent

Set within a dense coastal forest, Villa Aranya is organised around the path of the sun. Board-formed concrete carries the grain of the timber that shaped it; teak softens every surface a hand might touch. Rooms open and close to the trees so the house feels different at dawn than it does at dusk.
